Find MAC address

Step 1:Click Star menu

Step 2:Write Cmd in Run

Step 3:Write “getmac” in command prompt

 

How to change IP address

Step 1:Click Start menu

Step 2:Click control panel

Step 3:Click network and sharing center

Step 4:Click change adopter settings

Step 5:Right click on Local area connection and select properties

Step 6:Click Internet protocol version 4(TCP/IPv4)  and then click properties

Step 7:Enter IP address

 

Step 8:Click OK button .

 

How To Change MAC Address

Go to Start click Control Panel if view by large icon then click Network and Sharing Center if view is Category in (network and internet) click (view network status and tasks).Then Click Change adopter settings and right Click on Local area network and click properties

Click Configure button

Click Network address Click value and Enter MAC address suppose we Enter 000000CC0000 (12 character mac address)  Click ok.

Go to Start run CMD write IPCONFIG /ALL

MAC address Change.

 

MAC Address Filtering

Type router ip into a browser open the router configer page.login you wireless router page

add mac address status enabled privilege allow and save.

click wireless setting enter password in PSK passphrase  and save.

with out adding MAC address net is not working.your network will secure .

How To Connect wireless Router From Modem

1.disconnect computer network cable from modem.

2.connect the computer network cable from router any port but not in wan port power on the router.

3.In browser write 192.168.1.1 after that login window will appear router back side user name and password will mansion.

4.after login click Network and change IP address 192.168.2.1 and click save .

5.connect your computer network cable to modem and create connection between modem and router wan port.

Connect Computers through remote desktop

Right Click on my computer Select properties than click change setting select remote

Click Select users Add User press OK

start menu search Cmd than write ipconfig

log off your computer. second computer in start menu  search remote desktop connection  write the ip of first computer and connect .write user name and password and enjoy.

 

 

Connect Computer Using Lan

you need minimum two computer and one cable .you can use cross cable or straight cable both are working .computers connected by cable using network card.its not necessary both computer workgroup are same.

after that We need to set ip address.

For window7
Control panel Select Network and Sharing Center  than select Change adopter setting right Click on local area connection select (TCP/IPv4) click properties
set the ip:
ip address  : 192.168.1.2
Subnet mark: 255.255.255.0
default gateway: Blank
preferred DNS Server : Blank
Alternate DNS Server  : Blank

On the second computer Make the IP Address 192.168.1.3
Everything else the same.

For windows xp
In Control Panel, Open Network Settings.
Right click on Local Area Connections and select properties and set ip.
